Overview
Alpha Patrol Security Services is hiring for full-time, part-time and on call positions at site locations in the East Bay, including Oakland, Alameda, Berkeley, Richmond and Fremont. We are looking for serious, motivated, and reliable unarmed security guards who meet the following requirements:

Requirements:

✔ Must live in the East Bay
✔ Must have a personal vehicle
✔ Must hold an active guard card
✔ Must be experienced and reliable
✔ Must be able to follow Post Orders and duties
✔ Must pass a drug test
✔ Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
✔ Must arrive on time—being even 1 minute late is considered late

Pay Rate: $18–$22 per hour (depending on site location and experience)

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
• Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment.
• Utilize CCTV systems to monitor activities and identify suspicious behavior.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies.
• Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage.
• Provide assistance during conflicts or disturbances, employing conflict management techniques.
• Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
• Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary and provide support during investigations.
• Administer first aid or CPR when required in emergency situations.

Qualifications

• Security experience
• Fluent English Speaker
• Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance techniques is a plus.
• Strong skills in conflict management and de-escalation strategies.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Must possess a valid security Guard Card
• Punctual and On Time is Mandator.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong observational skills with attention to detail.
