Security Guard

Guards with hospital experience are strongly encouraged to apply. This job site is Monday-Sunday at a skilled nursing facility. Hours 20:00PM-05:00AM.

Overview:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and reliable Security Guard to join our team. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and employees. This is a great opportunity for individuals with a background in law enforcement or security to contribute to the safety and well-being of others.

Duties:
– Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure the security of the property
– Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to detect any suspicious activity
– Respond promptly to alarms and investigate disturbances
– Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and employees with inquiries or concerns
– Enforce access control procedures, checking identification and verifying credentials
– Perform crowd control duties during events or busy periods
– Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary
– Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of security-related activities

Skills:
– Strong knowledge of security protocols and procedures
– Experience in surveillance techniques and monitoring systems (CCTV)
– Ability to handle conflicts and difficult situations with professionalism
– Possess a valid security guard certificate or license
– Familiarity with loss prevention techniques
– CPR and first aid certification is preferred but not required

Pay: $19.00 – $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• Weekends as needed
