Security Officer

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. Duties
– Monitor premises through CCTV and surveillance systems to ensure safety and security.
– Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activities.
– Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, ensuring appropriate action is taken.
– Enforce company policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor.
– Document incidents, observations, and any relevant information in detailed reports.
– Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary and provide assistance during investigations.
– Provide first aid and CPR as needed in emergency situations.
– Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential risks and implementing preventive measures.
– Manage conflicts effectively by employing conflict management techniques.

Requirements
– Previous experience in law enforcement or military service is preferred but not mandatory.
– Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance techniques is highly desirable.
– Possession of relevant security certifications is a plus (e.g., Security Guard License).
– First Aid and CPR certification is required; additional training in emergency response is advantageous.
– Strong observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
– Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with staff, clients, and law enforcement personnel.
– Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
– A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in all aspects of the role.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 – $21.41 per hour
