Unarmed Foot Patrol Security Officer

Location: Old Town, San Diego, CA
Pay: $17.75 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time | Hybrid Shift | Mon–Wed 2:30PM–11:00PM / Sat–Sun 6:00AM–2:30PM

We are currently hiring for a Full-Time Unarmed Foot Patrol Officer in the Old Town area of San Diego, CA. This hybrid shift position offers a consistent schedule and the opportunity to work in a professional, team-oriented environment.

Position Overview

As an Unarmed Foot Patrol Officer, you will play a key role in maintaining the safety and security of the property by conducting regular patrols, completing Scan Tours, and monitoring site activity. The ideal candidate will be observant, professional, and reliable with excellent attention to detail.

What You’ll Do

• Perform continuous foot patrols of the property to ensure safety and deter unwanted activity
• Conduct and log Scan Tours using RFID or digital checkpoint systems
• Identify and report suspicious activity, hazards, or policy violations
• Respond promptly to incidents, alarms, or emergencies
• Write accurate and detailed daily activity and incident reports
• Maintain professional communication with supervisors and on-site personnel
• Enforce company and client policies consistently and courteously

Qualifications You’ll Need

• 1 year of security experience (Required)
• Valid California Guard Card (Required)
• CPR Certification (Required)
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must pass a background check and drug screening
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong observation skills and professional demeanor
