Platinum Security, Inc. is seeking dependable and professional Part-Time Unarmed Security Officers to join our team in the Oceanside and San Marcos areas. These positions offer steady weekday schedules — perfect for those seeking work–life balance or supplemental income without late nights or weekend shifts.

We are especially interested in candidates with strong customer service experience, foot patrol capabilities, and those with prior military backgrounds.

Position Overview

As an Unarmed Security Officer, you will maintain a safe and welcoming environment through foot patrols, observation, and customer interaction. You will represent both Platinum Security and our clients with professionalism, reliability, and excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine foot patrols to ensure visibility and site safety
• Provide professional customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff
• Observe and report suspicious activity or safety concerns
• Complete accurate Daily Activity Reports (DARs) and incident reports
• Enforce site rules and follow company policies
• Maintain communication with supervisors and site management

Requirements

• Valid California Guard Card (Required)
• CPR Certification (Required)
• At least 1 year of security experience
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to walk/stand for extended periods during patrols
• Professional appearance and communication
• Military experience preferred, but not required
• Must be 18+ and able to pass background screening
