Event Security Officer

Overview
We are hiring for Mission bay Bay fest coming up this September from 9-27 to 9-29 as it is a big concert we are looking to bring in staff as well. We are seeking a dedicated Security Guard to join our team. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our premises and personnel.

Duties
– Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a security presence
– Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people in the property
– Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
– Create reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences
– Warn violators of premise rules and regulations
– Escort individuals off the premises when necessary

Qualifications
– Prior experience in militarise or law enforcement is preferred
– Possession of a valid security guard certificate
– Knowledge of first aid and CPR is a plus
– Familiarity with CCTV systems for surveillance purposes
– Understanding of loss prevention techniques
– Strong conflict management skills
– Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $18.00 – $19.00 per hour
