Position: Unarmed Security Officer

Location: Downtown San Diego, CA
Type: Full-Time | 40 hours/week
Shifts: Monday- Friday Day, Swing and Graveyard shifts available (8-hour shifts)
Pay: $17.00 – $18.00/hr. (based on experience)

Responsibilities Include:

• Maintain a strong security presence and deter unauthorized activity

• Conduct continuous foot patrols throughout the property

• Monitor access points and enforce entry protocols

• Respond to and report safety hazards, incidents, or suspicious behavior

• Use mobile reporting software and scan checkpoints as required

• Document incidents clearly and professionally in written reports

• Provide outstanding customer service to residents, guests, and staff

✅ Requirements:

• 
  Valid BSIS Guard Card (Required)

• 
  1 year of security experience preferred

• 
  Reliable transportation and a working smartphone are required.

• Strong written and verbal communication in English is required

• Physically able to stand/walk for 8 hours

• Professional appearance and demeanor

• Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated
