Hiring Temporary Security Guard for a period of 11/16/2024 – 11/22/2024

Orientation Date:

• Date: 11/13/2024
• Time: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Shift Details:

• Coverage Period: 11/16/2024 – 11/22/2024
• Shift Length: 12-hour shifts (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM or 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM)
• Pay Rate: $22/hr (for the first 8 hours, on W2)
• Overtime Rate: $33/hr (for the remaining 4 hours, on W2)

Locations:
Security Guards will be assigned to the following Sharp HealthCare facilities:

• Sharp Chula Vista – 751 Medical Center Ct, Chula Vista, CA 91911
• Sharp Memorial – 7901 Frost St, San Diego, CA 92123
• Sharp Grossmont – 8860 Center Dr, La Mesa, CA 91942
• Sharp Mesa Vista – 7850 Vista Hill Ave, San Diego, CA 92123
• Sharp Corporate Office – 8695 Spectrum Center Blvd, San Diego, CA 92123
• Sharp Mary Birch – 3003 Health Center Dr, San Diego, CA 92123
• Nearby offsite parking facilities

Job Responsibilities:

• Monitor and secure entry and exit points
• Conduct regular patrols within designated facilities
• Ensure the safety of personnel, visitors, and property
• Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies
• Maintain clear records and follow protocols for incident reporting

Compliance Requirements:
Candidates must meet the following criteria:

• CA Guard Card – Active and valid
• Drug Testing: 10-panel drug swab (to be completed within 7 days of start date)
• TSpot Test: Onsite completion available during orientation
• COVID-19 Compliance: Proof of two-shot series or a declination form
• Mandatory Training:
• Unlawful Harassment Prevention (must be completed prior to start)
• Sharp Code of Conduct (must be completed prior to start)
