Barback / Front Door Security

Job Description:

Looking for a front of house door security person for a high volume bar in Mission Hills. The ideal candidate will have bar/nightclub experience, knowledge of security protocols, and strong ability to de-escalate situations. This person will be the first face guests see when they enter and the last face they see when leaving the venue. The candidate must have a confident presence with an incredibly friendly demeanor.

The position would start off being Friday and Saturday nights from 8pm – CL (2am). The ideal candidate would have open availability on weekends, and have a track record of high reliability.

Job Responsibilities:

– Check IDs and ensure all guests entering are 21+

– Screen guests for aggression and over-intoxication. Must be comfortable denying entry to guests who fail those screenings, and must have ability to do so in a friendly and professional manner

– Be a team player and be able to communicate effectively

– Must have a desire to learn and a desire to constantly be better than the day before

– Must be people-oriented and have an eye for detail
