Level 2 Security Officer

We are seeking a reliable and vigilant Level 2 Security Officer to join our security team. The Security Officer will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security for our client's property, their residents, and guests. This role is ideal for individuals with experience in the security field or a passion in deterring crime.

Duties:

• Provide visible and proactive security presence throughout the facility to deter and prevent any potential threats to vehicles and property.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to handle stressful situations.
• Conduct foot patrols of the facility to identify and address any security concerns.
• Respond promptly and safely to any vehicle alarms or suspicious activity. Report any criminal activity observed on site.
• Communicate with first responders when reporting crimes or medical assistance for the public.
• Become familiar in using a report writing software program, to report any incidents while on duty.
• Enforce property rules and procedures to the residents and guests of the location.
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times when interacting with the public or residents.
• Experience in radio communications and have knowledge on radio etiquette.
• Manage or de-escalate any conflicts to maintain a peaceful and safe environment for all individuals on location.
• Check all exterior doors of the property to make sure all doors are locked.

Requirements:

• Be physically fit and able to perform the duties of the role without restrictions.
• Have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Must have report writing skills.
• Must acquire excellent communication skills for the public.
• Must have a clean criminal history.
• Possess a valid and eligible security license, also known as a guard card.
• Have experience in the security field as a Level 2 Security Officer.

Pay: $14.00 – $15.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Night shift
• Overnight shift
• Weekends as needed

Experience:
