Status: Full Time 32 Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday weekly (5p-1a) with Monday through Wednesday (off).

POSITION SUMMARY: The primary purpose of your job position is to assist in safeguarding a person, building, property, premises, or valuable items. The primary duties of this role include patrolling the premises at regular intervals and responding to alarms or distress calls.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Adheres to and assures compliance with Code of Conduct, facility policies and procedures and all applicable rules, regulations and standards as promulgated by Federal, State, and accrediting agencies or regulating bodies. This includes, but is not limited to, Department of Health, Centers of Medicare and Medicaid Services, and other applicable regulatory agencies.
• File complaints/grievances with your supervisor.
• Follow established fire safety policies and procedures.
• Wear and/or use safety equipment and supplies (e.g., back brace, mechanical lifts, etc.) when lifting or moving heavy objects. Objects may exceed 30 pounds.
• Keep work/assignment areas free of hazardous objects, unnecessary equipment, supplies, etc.

· Performing security checks on visitors and guests upon arrival and exit using security scanners and other equipment provided.

· Luggage checks as necessary

· Ensure all visitors follow company policies for sign in or out, as well as any screening that may be necessary.

· Monitoring surveillance cameras.

· Responding to alarms on the premises.

· Patrolling the premises regularly to ensure property is safe.

· Liaising with law enforcement in the instance of reported criminal activity.

· Performing both scheduled and random checks of designated areas within the facility.

· Assisting the maintenance staff in securing the area during an emergency.
