Are you ready to play a vital role in ensuring a safe and secure environment during the upcoming elections? TAP Security is seeking dedicated Election Security Officers to assist voters and maintain order at polling locations.

Position Details:

• Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
• Pay: $16.20 per hour
• Location: City Libraries

Schedule: Morning and Mid-day shifts

• 10-hour shifts
• 12-hour shifts
• On-call availability
• Weekends as needed

What We’re Looking For:

• Customer Service Excellence: You excel at interacting with the public and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
• Quick Decision Makers: You can assess situations promptly and respond effectively, ensuring a smooth voting process.
• Conflict Resolution Skills: You have the ability to de-escalate tense situations with professionalism and calmness.

Preferred Experience:

• 1 – 3 years of customer service experience
• 1-3 years Military or Security experience is a plus but not required

Your Responsibilities:

• Warmly welcome and assist voters, ensuring they feel comfortable and informed throughout the election process.
• Utilize effective de-escalation techniques to address any issues, maintaining a calm and respectful atmosphere.
• Monitor polling locations to ensure compliance with security protocols and maintain a safe environment for all.
• Conduct regular patrols of the area to identify and mitigate any potential security risks.
• Anticipate the needs of voters and provide timely support to enhance their polling experience.
• Uphold safety and security standards by strictly adhering to established procedures and protocols.
• Carry out additional tasks as assigned to ensure exceptional service and security at polling locations.
