Armed Security Guard

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Unarmed and Armed Guard to join our security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their assets. This role requires a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively in high-pressure situations. The Unarmed and or Armed Guard will utilize their training in law enforcement and conflict management to deter potential threats and ensure the safety of all individuals on the premises.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent unauthorized access and ensure safety.
• Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, utilizing first aid and CPR skills as necessary.
• Conduct thorough surveillance using CCTV systems to identify suspicious activities or individuals.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary, providing detailed reports of incidents.
• Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage to property.
• Maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with clients, visitors, and employees.
• Enforce company policies and procedures regarding security measures.
• Participate in regular training sessions to stay current on best practices in security operations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in law enforcement or military service is preferred.
• Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations effectively.
• Familiarity with surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems.
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Must possess a valid armed security license or certification as required by state regulations.
• Willingness to undergo background checks and drug screenings as part of the hiring process.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $17.00 per hour
