Job Description

As a Security Professional – Armed – Store in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more.

As a Patrol Armed Officer in a retail environment, you will conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure atmosphere. Your presence will be key in providing exceptional customer service and communication. This role requires an armed designation, ensuring you are equipped to handle various situations. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity. A valid driver’s license and Level III Armed Certification in Texas are required for this position.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon02:15 PM – 10:30 PMFri03:45 PM – 11:30 PMSat02:15 PM – 10:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by implementing security procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when necessary.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm and problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail location and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must have an armed designation.
• Candidates must have 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security experience, or possess a college degree.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with AU Driver Policy requirements.
• Level III Armed Certification is required for positions in Texas.
• Texas Security Professional Guard Card is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
