Temporary Unarmed Security Officer

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations. As a Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in loss prevention and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Duties
– Monitor premises through regular patrols.
– Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
– Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and safety within the facility.
– Conduct thorough inspections of property to identify potential security risks.
– Assist in conflict management by de-escalating tense situations with effective communication.
– Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed during emergencies or investigations.
– Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and actions taken during shifts.

Requirements
– Valid security certificate
– Strong skills in conflict management
– Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
– Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $17.00 – $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Holidays
• Monday to Friday
• Overnight shift
