Unarmed Security Officer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Security professional to join our team in Tempe, AZ.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our employees, residents, and visitors. Hiring for OVERNIGHT shifts! FULL TIME ONLY.

Currently available across all locations:

• 2000-0400. 8hr shifts, 40hrs/wk.
  • 1 position: Wednesday-Sunday

Responsibilities:

• Patrol the premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of premises.
• Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances.
• Write reports of daily activities and irregularities by incident, such as equipment or property damage, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
• Call police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons.

Requirements:

• Must have a valid Arizona Unarmed Guard Card.
• Previous experience as an unarmed security guard is preferred.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must have a clean criminal record.
