Security

Security Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Create a positive, inviting environment, contributing to an exceptional guest experience
• Check identification for age verification and ensure that only patrons of legal drinking age are allowed entry to the venue
• Monitor patrons to ensure that they are not engaging in any suspicious or illegal activities
• Inspect bags for any prohibited items
• Respond to customer inquiries and complaints
• Remain alert and aware of any potential safety hazards
• Monitor foot traffic in and out of the establishment
• Patrol the outside for any potential threats
• Notify management of any unusual situations or disturbances
• Follow safety protocols and procedures
• Give guests warnings if they behave disorderly
• Perform crowd control by asking disruptive patrons to leave
• De-escalate conflict between patrons
• Escort patrons that refuse to leave
• Call law enforcement when they need additional help
• Detain those committing potential crimes
• Assist intoxicated guests with finding safe transportation home

Security Requirements and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a Bouncer or Security Guard preferred
• Arizona Title 4 Liquor Certification required
• Public Safety Plan (PSP) and Security Training class (may attend after hiring)
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
• Knowledge of the laws and regulations of the venue
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Physically fit and able to lift objects up to 50 lbs
