Immanuel Campus of Care is seeking a highly motivated, and reliable Night Monitor guard to join our team. A Night Monitor's main duty is to ensure that our campus is secured and safe for our residents and staff. This also includes handling any minor emergency maintenance duties during your shift. The ideal candidate will have excellent observation and communication skills, the ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism, has basic knowledge of light maintenance duties, and has 1 year experience working at a Healthcare facility in a similar position is preferred.

Available Shifts and Compensation

Specific schedules will be discussed during the interview.

• $15.50-18.50 per hour based on years of experience.

Employment Requirements:

• AZ Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card (we will help you apply)
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Complete a 2-step TB test (available on-site)
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Job Summary

• Patrol all campus buildings and grounds continuously throughout shift, by foot and golf cart.
• Assist in walking staff to their car late at night, if requested.
• Respond promptly to security incidents, including alarms, disturbances, and emergencies.
• Alert emergency services and/or management as needed.
• Respond to calls from employees and visitors for assistance.
• Check that both internal and external doors remain locked throughout shift.
• Write detailed incident reports documenting any security-related events.
• Perform basic maintenance, (i.e. plunge clogged toilet, etc.) as needed.

• Strong conflict management skills.
• Handle difficult situations calmly and professionally.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work harmoniously and interact appropriately with others.
• Ability to perform basic maintenance duties when needed.

This is a Non-Exempt FLSA status position.
