Armed Security Officer

Job Title: Armed Security Officer

Duties:
– Patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of the premises
– Monitor CCTV cameras and alarm systems to detect any suspicious activities
– Respond promptly to emergency situations and provide assistance as needed
– Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify potential security risks
– Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain a secure environment
– Handle conflicts or disturbances in a professional and calm manner
– Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and employees as required

Qualifications:
– Previous experience in law enforcement or security preferred
– Must possess a valid armed security officer license/certificate to start right away. ( We do offer the armed guard classes to get you working faster)
– Knowledge of CCTV systems and surveillance techniques
– Strong conflict management skills to handle difficult situations effectively
– Strong First aid, CPR, and other relevant certifications are an asset. Ability to administer Narcan and conduct CPR when needed
– Ability to work in a militarized environment with attention to detail
– Two way radio use

Expected hours: 36 – 42 per week
