DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The ideal candidate for this position should possess a notable background in security operations while simultaneously being able to operate comfortably in a leadership billet. This role would require the individual to commute and operate between the dispensary locations and assist the Security Director in overseeing all security-based operations.

Tasks/Duties include but are not limited to:

• Carry out any tasks assigned by either the Security Director and communicate all pass-down information to all subordinate security officers under the Security Manager’s charge.
• Account for confidential/sensitive items such as keys and building access codes.
• Ensure the highest level of service quality to our patients and caregivers
• Represent Sol Flower, Copperstate and the brands in a professional manner
• Scout potential security officer candidates, conduct interviews and follow through with HR on all hiring pertaining matters.
• Oversee all operational and remedial training for all security officers across both dispensary locations.
• Conduct and document product and cash audits at each Dispensary in addition to checking any audits done by any subordinate security officer.
• Review all Incident Reports and any correlating security video footage and relay any information of an urgent nature to the Security Director or other Security Managers respectively.
• Complete, document and provide performance reviews for all security officers monthly; as well as the mandatory 90 day & annual performance reviews.
• Lead/Assist the Security Director in all internal investigations that fall under the jurisdiction of the security department.
• Maintain and report any damages to the dispensary facility onsite, as well as any technical support problems to appropriate personnel.
• Issue reprimands in the form of verbal and written write-ups as necessary to rectify any deficiencies in subpar work performance.
• Review all Daily Logs and other security documents and check for accuracy prior to submission to the Security Director.
• Build out weekly schedules for each dispensary’s team and disperse the information at least two weeks in advance to allot employees for adequate time to plan necessary leave time for personal business.
• Communicate closely with all dispensary retail managers and the logistics team to improve the overall operational security of the dispensaries.
• Act as a liaison for all involvements with Law Enforcement (e.g., reporting incidents to local authorities, following up on all charge pursuits, providing evidence in investigations).
• Present initial onboard security training and annual security training for all patient advocates, floor managers and retail personnel.
