Armed Security Officers for Special Assignments

LICENSED ARMED SECURITY OFFICER

Arizona Veteran Security is searching for experienced armed licensed officers for special assignments. Hiring immediately, The ideal candidate must be able to work throughout the valley. Selected applicants will fill current and any future armed security opportunities.

Position:
Part-Time and Full-Time Licensed Armed Security

Shift:
Monday-Sunday 9pm-6am

Hours:
Will vary depending on client requirements

Pay:
$25

Required Qualifications:

• 4 years’ experience as an armed security officer, corrections, military, or law enforcement
• 21 years or older
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as operational needs dictate and be able to travel to job-sites throughout the valley
• Must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English
• Must have own duty belt and carry weapon
• Current AZ DPS Armed and Unarmed security guard card license
• Willing to attend a paid in person company armed orientation prior to post
• Clean cut professional and groomed appearance required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must own vehicle to report to posts
• Smart phone and proficiency in phone applications
• Current and working email address
• Demonstrated analytic and critical thinking skills
• Conduct at a professional level at all times with a high level of Integrity
• A service-oriented personality, self-motivated, confident, energetic, and flexible

Preferred Qualifications:

• Valid Arizona Private Investigator license
• Current Arizona EMT certification
• Executive protection experience or training
• Bilingual
• Ability to travel outside the Metro Phoenix Area

Physical Requirements:

• Stand, sit, and walk constantly (for up to an entire shift) on various surfaces
• Climb stairs or ramps during shift
• Occasionally bend/twist at waist/knees/neck to perform strenuous tasks
• Lift or carry up to 25 pounds
• Constant use of both hands and arms in reaching/handling/grasping while using phone, notepad, writing reports
• Constant use of eyes (correctable vision to normal level required) to observe, read, interact with public and co-workers
• Work in various environments including adverse outdoor conditions such as cold, rain or heat
• Constant mental alertness and attention to detail
