Schedule: Wednesday-Sunday, 10pm-6am

Compensation: $22.50/hr. + Benefits Must complete our armed training program within 60 days of employment or pay goes back to $22.50.

Job Summary:

We need an Armed Security Officer (Overnight Shift) to work the day shift at an industrial facility in Tempe, AZ. The Armed Security Officer (Overnight Shift) is responsible for safeguarding the facility’s property, personnel, and equipment by doing vehicle patrol around the facility.

As an Armed Security Officer (Overnight Shift), you will support site safety initiatives and ensure that safety equipment remains in excellent working order. As a result, you’ll be able to help create a safe and rewarding environment for all.

Anderson will provide you with a firearm, uniforms, and all equipment to perform the functions of this role. No having to worry about purchasing ammunition to plink around. We have a state-of-the-art virtual simulator that creates real-world scenarios.

Essential Functions:

• Create a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and vendors.
• Communicate appropriately with supervisors, peers, client associates, and the general public professionally.
• Ensure that the security team meets organizational goals for productivity, performance management, and employee engagement.
• Display intermediate/advanced computer skills to utilize the proprietary software on-site.
• Conduct thorough foot patrols around the premises to observe anything out of the ordinary.
• Provide exceptional customer service while displaying a positive attitude.
• Create and maintain a thorough understanding of standard operating procedures, site-specific post orders and duties, and client safety programs.
• Make ethical judgment decisions while carrying out your responsibilities according to company and client policies.
• Demonstrate keen attention to detail in all aspects of the job to ensure safety and security for all on-site.
• Handle sensitive information and material, in doing so, remain confidential at all times.
• Demonstrate the highest levels of integrity in the performance of your duties.
• Maintain a flexible schedule and ability to work overtime if and when required or in the event of an emergency.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age, per state standards.
• Armed Security Guard License in Arizona (We can help you get this!)
• One year of experience in either contract security, military, corrections, or law enforcement experience.
• Completion of Anderson Security’s Armed Training Program.
• CPR, AED, and First Aid certified. (We provide these for FREE!)
• Must be authorized to work in the United States legally.
• Submit a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
• Possess the minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent education.
• If military experience must be able to provide a copy of DD-214, Form 4.
