Armed Security Officer

We are seeking Armed Security Officers to become an integral part of our team. The selected individual will patrol and secure assigned premises as well as identify risks to staff and patrons.

We are hiring for multiple sites and locations in Philadelphia and surrounding areas including schools, churches, construction sites, apartments, neighborhoods, etc. Below is a generic list of responsibilities not specific to a specific location.

Candidates are expected to work at any job site where there is a need. No officer is assigned to only work at one job site. Travel is necessary. Weekends are necessary.

Responsibilities:

*Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules *Warn violators of premise rules and regulations *Apprehend or expel persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts *Report any facility issues such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes *Request emergency personnel for high-risk situations

*Must currently hold Valid ACT 235 *Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or other related fields *Familiarity with security equipment *Ability to handle physical workload *Strong attention to detail *HS Diploma or equivalent *Ability to respectfully and professionally work as a TEAM *Must communicate professionally and respectfully at all times *Ability to work with the public *Background Check, Child clearance (if applicable to position), and Random Drug Screening Required *Open Availability*** *Reliable means of transportation *Must be able to travel to various job sites

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $15.00 – $18.00/hour.

Depending on which location a candidate would be selected for following an interview, the responsibilities will fluctuate to honor and fulfill the specifics of that location.
