Security/Concierge

PLEASE READ ENTIRELY

We are looking for a reliable security/ concierge to work at the main entrance desk of our sites. You will be the first to meet our customers so the first impression of our facility depends on your friendliness and efficiency. The ideal candidate will be a smart and trustworthy individual able to provide our clients with a warm greeting and handle all incoming requests. You will be responsible to protect the site and its residents by monitoring who comes in and out of our premises. 3rd shift (12:30am-8:30am). May be asked to cover call outs and extra shifts for client, but not mandatory

Background and clearances needed before hiring:

1. Child Abuse Clearance

2. FBI Clearance

3. PA State Criminal Clearance

4. Online module on Child Abuse Awareness study

Please have these backgrounds within the past 6 (six) months and able to send a copy to be submitted to the client for approval. Or ability to get the backgrounds done before hiring. If you need assistance, please feel free to ask.

Responsibilities

• Welcome residents upon entrance and confirm status
• Act as the point of reference for guests who need assistance or information and attend to their wishes and requirements
• Understand client’s needs and provide them with personalized solutions by suggesting ways to ease their issues
• Acquire extensive knowledge of the premises
• Take and distribute messages for maintenance and client
• Respond to complaints and find the appropriate solution
• Do tours of site to ensure everything is as the client wants it
• Assist with emergency situations
• Safety checks though out the facility

Skills

• Proven experience in customer service or relevant role is an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills
• Polite and confident with a great deal of patience
• Ability to multitasking and time-management
• High school diploma or GED

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $14.00 per hour
