Job Title: Unarmed Security Guard (Part-Time) Location: Philadelphia, PA Pay Rate: Starting at $21.00 per hour Schedule: Part-Time Position Overview We are seeking reliable, professional, and responsible Unarmed Security Guards to provide security services for a residential group home serving young men ages 14–20. The ideal candidate will help maintain a safe, secure, and supportive environment for residents, staff, and visitors while demonstrating sound judgment and strong interpersonal skills. Key Responsibilities • Monitor and secure the facility and surrounding property. • Conduct routine patrols and safety checks. • Observe and report suspicious activity, incidents, or safety concerns. • Assist with maintaining a calm and secure environment for residents and staff. • Respond appropriately to emergencies and critical situations. • Complete incident reports and daily activity logs as required. • Enforce facility policies and procedures in a professional manner. Qualifications • Previous security experience preferred. • High school diploma or GED required. • Strong observation, communication, and conflict-resolution skills. • Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations. • Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently. Requirements • Successful completion of a criminal background check. • Clearance through required child abuse and youth-care screening processes. • Ability to meet all state and facility requirements for employment. • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
