Armed Night Shift Officer

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, responding to incidents, and enforcing regulations. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to remain calm under pressure, and a commitment to ensuring the safety of personnel and property.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
• Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
• Prepare detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and observations for management review.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement when necessary to ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Monitor surveillance equipment and maintain awareness of surroundings to identify potential threats.
• Complete HOURLY patrols on foot of the property.
• Required to wear a full Uniform (provided) Full Duty belt.
• Required to have a Valid Driver’s License.
• Job Posting is for 12 Hour Shift Overnight.

Skills

• Strong observational skills with the ability to assess situations quickly and accurately.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective reporting and interaction with others.
• Familiarity with security protocols and emergency response procedures.
• Knowledge of testing methodologies related to security systems is beneficial.
• Understanding of architecture principles related to security systems is an asset.
• Proficiency in Release management processes ensures timely updates of security measures.
• Thursday 10pm-4am, Friday 4pm-4am, Saturday 4pm-4am, Sunday 4pm-4am
• Paid Weekly
