Unarmed Security Officer (Part-Time)

Position Overview:

Are you looking for a rewarding opportunity in the security field? We are seeking dedicated Unarmed Security Officers to join our team! We offer both part-time and full-time positions with flexible scheduling options. As a Security Officer, you will play an essential role in ensuring the safety and security of our facilities and personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

– Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter and detect suspicious activity.

– Record all site activities, incidents, and observations in a log book.

– Respond to alarms and disturbances efficiently, assessing situations and taking appropriate actions.

– Enforce company policies and procedures while maintaining a high level of customer service.

– Work independently, especially during nighttime shifts, while remaining vigilant and alert.

– Wear the designated uniform and maintain a professional appearance.

– Utilize or learn to operate a spreadsheet for reporting purposes and documentation.

– Monitor refrigerated containers’ temperature and report out of ordinary high temperatures to your team lead/or management

Qualifications:

– At least 1 year of security experience, or completion of security training

– High school diploma or equivalent required.

– Must possess a smartphone with an internet connection.

– Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

– Willingness to work alone during night shifts.

– Strong attention to detail and excellent observational skills.

– Good written and verbal communication skills.

– Basic computer skills; ability to learn spreadsheet operation.
