Security Guard

Catelli Family of Foods veal and lamb processing facility located 50 Ferry Avenue Collingswood, NJ is seeking a responsible, professional Security Guard to undertake the surveillance of our employee parking lot. You will be acting as a first level response to any issues that may arise. The successful candidate will have a background in security and a desire to help others. The goal is to help the company maintain a safe environment, problem-free and protect our employee’s property.

Responsibilities:

• Patrol the grounds to prevent theft and vandalism
• Guard against potential hazards
• Report any incidents to the appropriate parties
• Be in good physical shape
• Inspire respect and authority
• Protection of our property and employee property
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
• Familiarity with completion of reports
• Ensure parking lot is utilize for parking only (no other activities)

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Be at least 18 years old
• 3 yrs + in a security role
• must have a vehicle
• must provide proof of vehicle insurance
• required to pass a drug screen and background check

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent

Physical requirements:

• Frequent sitting, standing and walking

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 – $18.00 per hour
