Security Officer (Mobile Patrol)

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and vigilant Security Officer (Mobile Patrol) to ensure the safety and security of our facilities, personnel, and assets. As a key member of our security team, you will conduct proactive patrols across various locations, respond swiftly to incidents, and maintain a secure environment through vigilant surveillance and effective conflict management. Your role is vital in preventing loss, deterring unauthorized access, and supporting emergency response efforts. Schedule: Monday, Friday, Saturday, & Sunday 4pm-11pm

Pay rate: $20/hr

Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Responsibilities

• Perform regular mobile patrols across designated areas to monitor for suspicious activity or security breaches
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, providing immediate support and escalation as needed
• Conduct thorough inspections of premises, including checking CCTV systems, fences, entrances, and exits to ensure operational integrity
• Manage access control by verifying identities of visitors, contractors, and employees using surveillance tools and identification procedures
• Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential theft or vandalism activities and intervening appropriately
• Maintain detailed incident reports, shift logs, and surveillance records to ensure accurate documentation of all activities
• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders during critical incidents to facilitate swift resolution

Skills

• Strong knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV and alarm systems
• Proficiency in conflict management and de-escalation techniques to handle tense situations professionally
• Ability to perform first aid and CPR to provide immediate assistance during medical emergencies
• Background in law enforcement or military service is highly advantageous for understanding security protocols and emergency procedures
• Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and effective interaction with team members and the public
• Familiarity with loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and property damage
• Experience in security operations involving CCTV monitoring, patrols, and incident response
