Undercover Task Force Security Guards – Ottawa

Securiguard is currently seeking Task Force Guards and investigation professionals for a high-profile retail client in Ottawa.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of Uniformed Security experience in diverse settings such as retail, hospitals, government buildings, colleges, and universities.
• Preferred 1+ year of experience as a Loss Prevention Guard in high-profile retail stores.
• Willingness to work at various stores in Ottawa.
• Exceptional communication skills, encompassing written, verbal, and listening abilities.
• Possession of a valid Security Guard License and First Aid CPR; Use of Force certificate is preferred.
• Proven capability to draft professional security reports with meticulous attention to detail and grammar.
• Commitment to completing all required training modules, including annual recertification for Lawful Subject Restraint and Crisis Management.
• Familiarity with the Canada Criminal Code, 494(c), and TPA.
• Proficiency in Conflict Resolution and De-Escalation skills.
• Ability and willingness to perform arrests in appropriate and sanctioned situations.
• Full time availability.
• Valid driver's license.
• Comfortable standing or patrolling for 8-12 hour shifts.
