Security Guard

Job Overview
We are seeking a Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our employees and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to surveillance and conflict management, ensuring that all security protocols are followed diligently.

Responsibilities

_Patrol premises throughout shift.
– Monitor CCTV systems to observe activities and maintain surveillance of premises.
– Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations.
– Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify potential security risks or safety hazards.
– Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor in all interactions.
– Document incidents, accidents, or unusual occurrences in detailed reports for further investigation.

Qualifications
-NYS Security Guard license required.
– Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
– Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
– Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $21.35 per hour

Expected hours: 7 – 10 per week

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:

• West Babylon, NY 11704 (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

• West Babylon, NY 11704: Relocate before starting work (Required)
