Retail Security Guard

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees.

Duties
– Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules
– Patrol assigned areas on foot or vehicle to ensure security
– Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
– Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences
– Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles
– Escort individuals to specified locations and provide personal protection

Experience
– Previous experience in security-related roles preferred
– Knowledge of CCTV systems and surveillance techniques
– CPR, First Aid, or Law Enforcement certification is a plus
– Familiarity with loss prevention strategies
– Ability to handle conflicts and emergencies calmly and efficiently
– Military experience is advantageous

Pay: $15.00 – $15.50 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 29 per week
