Job Title: Security guard

Directly Reports to: General Managers

Salary: $25

Position Summary:

• Customer Service- Greeting, scanning customer s Identification
• Maintains law and order, and enforces all regulations in shop
• Directing customers and vendors in shop
• Energetic and focused personality with a demonstrated ability to take initiative
• This position requires excellent attendance and punctuality
• Must be able to work in a very independent environment, and ensure all directions and instructions are followed

thoroughly (such as delivery of items to client sites, vendor visit etc.)

Responsibilities:

• Performs a variety of security activities to ensure the safety of customers, staff, and visitors
• Patrols and monitors the access to facilities and grounds and documents all incidents
• Customer service greeting all customers
• Scan all customers ID’s upon entering the shop
• Guards and secures designated entrances/exits to ensure that only patients, associates and authorized visitors enter the shop
• Monitors flow of visitors into and within facility providing directions to specific authorized destinations
• Responds to emergency/unusual situations, disturbances, disruptive visitors and other occurrences when assistance is requested

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma and/or its equivalent required.

Candidates given a tentative/conditional job offer must possess and maintain a valid NYS Guard License as a requirement.

NYS Dept. of State’s 8 hour mandated certificate of training required.

Must be able to stand, strenuous physical activity, including climbing stairs, as well as standing or sitting for long periods of time.
