**Job Summary:**

Superior Elite Security Inc seeks seasoned security officers for a prestigious basketball tournament location in Upper Manhattan (Dyckman Area). This temporary assignment spans 8 to 12 weeks beginning in June, ensuring venue safety. Applicants must hold a valid NYS Security license, have completed the 16 Hour OJT Training, and be capable of obtaining an FDNY F04 Certificate of Fitness within the initial two weeks of employment.

**Duties:**

– Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a security presence

– Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people in the property

– Investigate alarms or disturbances and take necessary actions

– Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences

– Call police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons

**Experience:**

– Previous experience in security preferred

– Community oriented and people person

– First aid and CPR certification is a plus

– Experience in conflict management

– Understanding of loss prevention techniques

– Background in law enforcement or military is advantageous
