Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide outstanding customer service to all residents, family members, responsible persons, and visitors of residents in the Inspīr community
  • Provide a highly visible presence in the Inspīr community to residents and potential intruders to foster a sense of safety.
  • Operate wireless communication equipment to communicate with other departments
  • Observe and monitor security video of the premises regularly
  • Use visitor management software as well as emergency call software as needed
  • Maintain physical presence in the lobby of the building, within view of entrance
  • Ensure that all doors are secured and locked in the evening
  • Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to appropriate department
  • Keep accurate records of residents entering and leaving community after front doors are locked
  • Maintain confidentiality of resident and Inspīr information
  • Follow Inspīr procedures, rules, and instructions given by supervisor
  • Maintain a current list of local emergency numbers
  • In the event of emergency, assist local emergency personnel within the facility as needed
  • Report building problems/emergencies to the Concierge Services Manager
  • Control public gathering at entryways and lobby areas
  • Assist residents, their families or visitors in navigating the premises
  • Stand, walk, climb, and bend most of the day. Occasionally lift, push, pull, and carry medium to heavy weights
  • Participate in on-going in-service and training requirements
  • Follow emergency procedures
  • Understand and comply with all Inspīr safety practices and procedures

Education/Experience/Licensure/Certification:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Fire and Life Safety Director license (T-89/F-89) preferred
  • Experience and passion in working with seniors preferred
  • Ability to maintain positive working relationships with residents, their families, peers and other staff members
