Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and professional Security Specialists to join our team. The ideal candidates will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our premises, guests, and staff. This position requires a strong professional presence, communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage various security-related tasks effectively. The Security Specialist will also engage with guests to provide exceptional service and maintain a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, taking appropriate action as necessary.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify potential security risks.
• Provide excellent guest services by assisting visitors with inquiries and addressing their concerns.
• Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
• Enforce hotel policies and procedures while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
• Assist in training new staff on security protocols and guest relations.

Requirements

• Must have a valid NYS Security Guard License.
• Minimum (2) years experience in high-end security operations.
• Attire: Black Suit and professional footwear.
• Must maintain grooming standards.
• Additional certifications (CPR, Fire Guard, etc.) a plus.
• Must be reliable, punctual, team-oriented.
• Proven experience in a security role or related field is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Proficient phone etiquette for handling inquiries professionally.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergency situations effectively.

Pay: $23.00 – $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 30 per week
