Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Armed Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees.

• Maintaining and securing weapons used on the job
• Securing entrances to buildings or designated outdoor areas
• Protecting general groups of people or certain individuals from attacks, harassment and other unwanted treatment

Duties

• Patrol designated areas to detect and prevent unauthorized activities
• Monitor surveillance equipment
• Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
• Write comprehensive reports documenting observations and activities
• Enforce laws on the property
• Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors
• Maintaining and securing weapons used on the job
• Securing entrances to buildings or designated outdoor areas
• Protecting general groups of people or certain individuals from attacks, harassment and other unwanted treatment

Qualifications

– Prior experience in law enforcement or military is a plus
– Must possess a valid armed security certificate
– Proficient in conflict management and de-escalation techniques
– Knowledge of CCTV systems
– Familiarity with first aid and CPR procedures
– Strong attention to detail and observation skills
– Ability to work under pressure and handle stressful situations effectively

-Ability to handle and maintain weapons

-Strong communication and interpersonal skills

-Capacity to patrol areas and respond to emergencies effectively

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $35.00 – $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 45 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Overnight shift
• Weekends as needed
