Security Guard

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, effective communication skills, and the ability to respond to incidents with professionalism and composure.

Duties

• Deterrence, Monitor and patrol designated areas to ensure safety and security.
• Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to identify potential threats.
• Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies.
• Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order within the premises.
• Provide assistance during conflicts or emergencies using conflict management techniques.
• Document incidents and prepare reports for management review.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in security preferred.
• Valid security certificate or relevant training in security practices.
• Knowledge of surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies.
• Proficiency in operating CCTV systems and other security equipment.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends if required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $16.50 – $21.64 per hour

Expected hours: 6 – 40 per week

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• No nights
• Overnight shift
• Weekends as needed
• Weekends only
