Doyle Security Services (DSS) is currently looking for UNARMED SECURITY OFFICERS in Suffolk County, NY.

Locations & Shifts:

Brookhaven: Saturday-Sunday 0700-1500/Monday 1500-2300 Pay Rate: 18.00/hr.

Brookhaven: Saturday-Sunday 0700-1500/Monday 0600-1400 Pay Rate: 18.00/hr.

Brookhaven: Wednesday-Saturday 1500-2300 Pay Rate: 18.00/hr.

Patchogue (mobile): Friday-Saturday 2200-0600 Pay Rate: 18.00/hr.

Patchogue (mobile): Saturday-Sunday 1400-2200 Pay Rate: 18.00/hr.

Shoreham: Thursday-Friday/Sunday 1800-0600 Pay Rate: 17.50/hr.

Shoreham: Thursday-Friday 0600-1800/Saturday 1800-0600 Pay Rate: 17.50/hr.

Deer Park: Friday 2200-0600 Pay Rate: $18.00/hr.

UNARMED SECURITY OFFICER WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager

SECURITY OFFICER / UNARMED GUARD / SECURITY GUARD REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma / GED required.
• 5-7 Year U.S. work history may be required.
• Valid NYS Security Guard License.
• Must be able to understand the English language and communicate effectively in both the verbal and written form.
• Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position.
