Security Officer – Staten Island

Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a part time security guard who resides on Staten Island to work at our clients private residental community located on Staten Island.

This is a part time position which requires the successful candidates have the availability to work BOTH Saturday & Sunday from 8:00 AM x 4:00 PM AND Tuesday & Wednesday from 4:00 PM x 12 AM.

Some of the essential duties for the guards assigned to this site are:

• Access control
• Verticle patrols
• Package acceptance

Candidates must:

• Have a current N.Y.S Security Guard license and be up to date with 8-hour annual in-service trainings.
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Be a Staten Island resident
• Must have 2 years previous security experience
• Display exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Ability to apply common sense and good judgement to situations as they arise
• Must be able to communicate in English, verbally and written
