Job Description

SOC Operator (Security)

As a Security Operations Center Operator, or SOC Operator, you monitor a variety of technologies including access control, video surveillance, and alarm systems to provide security service and threat elimination for industrial, business, or residential customers. Being that this is a hybrid role, you will also assume duties as a security officer in the Summit.
Salary: $20 an Hour
Key Responsibilities
1. Ensure the safety and well-being of the property, employees, vendors, contractors, and guests
2. Screen and monitor guest entry per site procedures related to prohibited items
3. Make necessary reports including detailed descriptions of people and incidents
4. Display professionalism in resolving complaints within scope of authority; otherwise refer to management
5. Perform other job-related duties as requested
Skills and Qualifications
Education and Experience
  • The ideal candidate will have 8 months minimum of stable security experience, along with a high level of computer skills.
  • Valid NYS Security Guard License
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

  • Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
  • Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.
