Clearance Requirement: Minimum Active SECRET clearance is required.

Armed Security Officer Miami, Florida

Responsibilities:

– Responds to emergency situations at clients site using appropriate escalation of force, consistent with established protocol.

– Maintains proficiency with all assigned equipment and weapons.

– Controls access to client site through the admittance process; precludes unauthorized access to facilities, deters theft or intentional destruction of physical assets.

– Observes and reports activities and incidents, provides documentation to company management.

– Patrols assigned site on foot or in vehicle, checks for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations.

– Responds to incidents of fire, medical emergency, hazardous materials, inclement weather, and other unspecified incidents.

Qualifications:

– Must have a Minimum Active SECRET clearance (or higher) is required.

– High School Diploma or GED.

– Minimum of 21 years of age.

– U.S. Citizenship.

– Must have minimum, at least one of the following:

(a.) six (6) months experience in a State licensed security services occupation (armed/unarmed guard, control room operator, etc.),

(b) be a current or former member (honorable discharge) of the United States Armed Forces

(c) six (6) months experience as a Federal, State, or Municipal Law Enforcement Officer, or Dispatcher with successful completion of a police officer's basic training academy or an associate degree in a Security or Law Enforcement field.

– Valid driver's license

Pay: $25.00 per hour
