Port Everglades Security Officer position (TRAFFIC & PRE-SCREENERS)

Minimum Requirements (must meet at least one):

• 3 Years/36 Months Verifiable Security Experience (Resume required) OR
• One year/ 12 Months Law Enforcement Experience (Resume required) OR
• Military Experience with a clean (DD214 required) OR
• 60 College credits / Associates
• At least 21-years old
• Valid Florida Driver's License
• D (Unarmed) Security License
• High School Diploma/Transcripts or GED (in English)
• Flexible availability to include weekends, 1st and 2nd shifts

Positions available: Traffic and Pre-screeners

• Officers will be directing traffic at cruise ship terminals
• Officers will be directing pedestrians at cruise ship terminals
• Pre-checking credentials at checkpoints
• Directing traffic and vetting drivers at checkpoints
• YOU WILL BE ON YOUR FEET FOR MOST OF THE SHIFT (BREAKS PROVIDED)
• MUST HAVE GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICES ****************

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $21.45 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week

Schedule:

• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Weekends as needed

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:
