We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to incidents, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols. The Security Guard will play a crucial role in preventing loss and ensuring peace of mind within the premises.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, ensuring appropriate action is taken.
• Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to ensure safety compliance.
• Utilize surveillance equipment such as CCTV to monitor activities and maintain security records.
• Enforce rules and regulations while providing excellent customer service to all visitors and staff.
• Assist in conflict management situations by applying de-escalation techniques when necessary.
• Provide first aid and CPR assistance as needed during emergencies or medical situations.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required for investigations or incidents.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is preferred.
• Knowledge of surveillance systems (CCTV) and loss prevention strategies is advantageous.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 – $16.00 per hour
