Aftercare School Security Guard

**Position:** Part-Time School Security Guard

**Job Description:**

We are seeking a part-time security guard to ensure the safety and security of our school environment. The ideal candidate should have experience working with students and in the security field, but it is not a requirement. You will be responsible for maintaining awareness of the surroundings, especially during after-school carpool traffic. The schedule is based on school days, from 1:30 PM to 6:00 PM, with the potential to work as Summer Camp Security during the summer months.

**Responsibilities:**

– Regularly patrol the premises to maintain safety and security

– Respond promptly to alarms and investigate disturbances

– Enforce access control procedures and verify the identity of individuals entering or exiting

– Report any suspicious activities or incidents to the appropriate authorities

-Calling on the radio for students who are leaving and opening car doors.

**Requirements:**

– Strong observation skills with attention to detail

– Effective communication and interpersonal abilities

– Capability to remain composed in high-pressure situations

– Physical fitness and the capacity to stand for extended periods

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4.5 per week

Schedule:

• After school
• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• Miramar, FL 33027: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)
