Full time – 39.5 hours a week

Sunday 7pm-7am
Monday 7:30pm-6:30am
Tuesday 7:30pm-6:30am
Wednesday 7:30pm-1am
OFF Thursday, Friday, Saturday
We have been doing this for a long while and always have had great success. However, lately, things in this industry in South Florida has become wild – just WILD. It is a perpetuating sad cycle that will not get better because people forget the power of strength of like-minded in numbers. The more selfish people work in a company – and in the industry – the crazier and more annoying it will get – it will only get worse. We cannot control the choices people make – but we are in high hopes that after this new age ad we will not have a bunch of liars who talk a good game but cannot even dribble a ball – apply. FACTS: the only way to exit this company is when self-serving people think that they can collect a paycheck for doing nothing that they agreed to do or they CHOOSE to violate policy over and over and over and over again. We try very hard to recondition the bad apples, but sometimes – the juice is not worth the squeeze, and it’s rotten to the core. I mean, when someone thinks it is a good thing to put 17 employers (doing from A-Z) for a year and a half and the longest duration was only two months – then they need to reread the first two paragraphs of this ad. This is a large percentage of the security applicants – and that is so sad. This is why clients do not respect security and expect to pay low – but we have to change this.

If this opener hits the nail on the head – and you love hearing us call out what contributes to our industry’s challenging nature (poor management/leadership [and you know how that can go because they do not fix any of the issues below about your coworkers or when people treat you bad or blame you for something you did not do], lack of training, low paying industry, clients that expect the most for the least amount of money, people talking down to or about security, poor work conditions, selfish/rude coworkers that make your life miserable by showing up late, lying, always calling out – especially 5 minutes before your shift ends and theirs begins, leaving a mess in the car – bathroom – gatehouse – desk – kitchen/eating area, eating your food in the fridge, leaving the vehicle on E, not charging the cell tablet, not doing their job and leaving more on you, always having drama and cannot balance their personal life so it overflows into the workplace and so on – then hopefully you know we are talking to you and want you to apply to our company. Work with us so we can strengthen our teams to weed out the mediocre people (there seem to be way more these days) who create a chaotic work environment because they just do not care about anything but themselves.
If you have responsibilities and goals and are a mature and respectful person with common sense and decency, then stability and organization are vital to your future plans. We do not want people who lie on their application, lie in the interviews, and sign the paperwork without reading – then are onboarded and trained to have a solid full-time position with a set schedule – to shortly after show that they are subpar, irresponsible, dramatic and cause issues for their team members by only caring about themself and the lack of purpose they serve. Thinking it is everyone else’s fault but their own. Those messy people who have no ethical or moral compass need to save their time, our time, and all of the other team members’ time and bounce to the next company that will hire anyone with a pulse and a security license. Must have a professional and polished appearance. This means that while on duty, all security staff must be in their SIG 9 issued uniform and abide by the grooming and hygiene standards.
Some fundamental responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Rover will observe, report, mitigate, and document various incident matters using the tablet and reporting system.
Must speak, read, and write English fluently and proficiently. Have effective communication skills, must have excellent interpersonal skills as well as excellent customer service skills.
Must be proactive problem-solvers, this means demonstrating patience, emotional intelligence, listening skills, and logical thinking.
