Security Alliance is seeking an experienced Armed Field Supervisor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong security background, focusing on leadership and field operations. This position requires prior experience in the security field, the ability to oversee security personnel, and a flexible schedule to meet the role's demands. The armed Field Supervisor ensures the highest level of security, compliance, and professionalism across various client sites. Must have a valid D & G License to be considered. This is an Armed position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise a team of unarmed security officers across multiple locations, ensuring adherence to company policies and client requirements.
- Conduct routine inspections of security officers and post assignments to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to security officers, addressing performance issues, and providing on-the-job training as needed.
- Maintain clear communication with the Operations Manager and provide regular updates on site operations, personnel performance, and any security incidents.
- Coordinate with clients and internal teams to ensure proper staffing and coverage for all shifts.
- Conduct site inspections, and risk assessments, and recommend improvements to enhance security services.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and incidents, taking appropriate actions and completing necessary reports.
- Complete and submit daily reports, shift logs, and incident reports.
- Ensure all security officers are equipped with the necessary tools, uniforms, and documentation to perform their duties.
- Maintain records of officer certifications, training, and compliance with state regulations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in the security industry, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Training & Certifications:
- Must have completed all necessary security training and certifications required by state and local regulations.
- Current and valid security officer license/certifications required.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide security personnel.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in completing reports and utilizing security management software.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Ability to respond to after-hour calls for emergencies or shift coverage.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel between client sites.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
