Unarmed Security Officer (Rover Vehicle Patrol)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and proactive Security Officer Rover to join our security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the property, residents and visitors The Security Officer Rover will conduct regular patrols, monitor, and respond to incidents or emergencies as they arise, ensuring a safe and secure environment for all visitors and residents.

Responsibilities:

Patrol Duties:

• Perform regular Vehicle patrols of the property, including parking lots, entrances and common areas.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities, safety hazards, or violations of plaza policies.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations, such as medical incidents, disturbances, or accidents.
• Report any security breaches or safety concerns to the appropriate authorities or management.
• Maintain detailed logs of incidents, patrolling activities, and security-related events.

Customer Service:

• Provide a visible and approachable presence, greet and assist residents and visitors.
• Offer assistance during emergencies and direct individuals to safe locations as necessary.

Incident Reporting & Documentation:

• Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
• Complete incident reports, detailing the nature and outcome of any events that occur.
• Ensure all security procedures and policies are followed and enforced.
• Communicate effectively with law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications in security or law enforcement preferred.
• Previous experience in a security or law enforcement role.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle emergency situations with composure and professionalism.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform minor physical tasks as needed.
• Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations.

Schedules available in Miami, Fl., 33196:

1)Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday 8pm to 8am & Thursday 8pm to 2am

2)Friday-Saturday-Sunday 8pm to 8am &Thursday 2am to 8am
