Armed Security Guard

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Guard to join our security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their assets. This role requires a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively in various situations. As an Armed Guard, you will play a crucial role in preventing loss and ensuring the safety of personnel and property.

Duties

• Monitor premises through surveillance systems, including CCTV, to detect suspicious activities.
• Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to deter criminal activity and ensure safety.
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
• Enforce security policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Manage conflicts effectively, utilizing conflict management techniques to resolve disputes.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to report incidents or suspicious behavior.
• Provide assistance in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential risks and vulnerabilities.
• Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations.

Skills

• Proficient in surveillance techniques and operation.
• Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.00 – $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week
