Unarmed Security Officer – Coral Gables & Surrounding Areas

Nation Security is seeking a professional, dependable, and customer-focused Unarmed Security Officer to join our team in Coral Gables and nearby areas. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute to a safe and welcoming environment while working in a fast-paced, professional setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible and proactive security presence to deter unsafe or unauthorized activity.
• Conduct regular patrols and monitor premises through surveillance systems and access controls.
• Provide excellent customer service while ensuring compliance with property rules and company policies.
• Respond promptly and appropriately to emergencies, including medical, fire, or safety incidents.
• Prepare accurate, detailed reports documenting incidents, accidents, and daily observations.
• Communicate effectively with management, staff, visitors, and emergency personnel.
• Coordinate with local law enforcement and first responders when needed.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English; bilingual in English/Spanish required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in security and/or customer service.
• Valid Florida Class D Security License.
• Valid Florida Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
• Strong observational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanor with a customer service focus.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage challenging situations effectively.
